Pictures of Earthquakes
Mexico City Earthquake, September 19, 1985

Earthquake Pictures
Presented below are a series of earthquake pictures taken during the aftermath of famous earthquake events that occurred in the past at various places around the world. Each earthquake event has a page of information devoted to it that lists a series of pictures with earthquake facts and descriptions below each picture. Where needed, photographs are subdivided into three individual categories: aerial views, ground photos, and closeups. Otherwise, pages are numbered.

Each photograph will have a caption below it, that will display information about the picture from the given earthquake event. I encourage visitors to read each caption - I found that there were interesting things I would have missed seeing if not for the caption being clear as to what is being displayed.
