There are roughly 600 mineral pictures on the YupRocks website, with plenty more on the way. Below each full sized picture, mineral information is provided which details the locality of the specimen (i.e., where it was collected), accompanying minerals (linked to their respective galleries on the YupRocks site in case you want to jump around a bit), from whose collection it came, and the photographer.

Please note that super high resolution versions of nearly all mineral photos are available by request, and that limited or full copyrighted use is granted for free or fee, depending on use. YupRocks mineral photography has been featured within the SuperGraphics section of Uhaul.com, published in multiple college level science textbooks, and has been used in an assortment of online publications since 2003. So if you would like to use any mineral imagery in publications, reports, homework assignments, blogs, websites, or have another idea for use, please feel free to contact us to secure written permission.
